Cover Page for a Pitch

Bit of commentary from the future here, but man oh man is this hard to look at now.  Scratch that.  It was hard to look at when I originally drew it!  Below is a cover to Ghost Squirrel‘s original pitch, back when I was trying to convince people that is was a nice and cheery kid’s show.

Ink Spirit – Pencil and Ink Comparison

I’ve been doing character designs for a project I’m working on called “Ghost Squirrel.” I’ve posted some pencil sketches of the villain characters and I’ll do a big post of all the finished color work in a bit.

Since I got sick of drawing everybody just standing around being vaguely happy, I decided to make things more interesting by putting this design in a landscape.

Idol in the Woods

Teaser image for an upcoming project (either animation or comic).  The illustration features a carved wood sculpture of a local woods’ guardian.
